Patrick Wilson
I had never even heard of Patrick Wilson until I rented the movie “Little Children”, but now I’m a big fan. He’s very sexy in a ‘guy-next-door’ kind of way, which I suppose made him perfect for this role. He spends much of this movie shirtless, either pool-side or while carrying on a hot and heavy affair with desperate housewife Kate Winslet. Wilson has appeared in quite a few other things, but somehow he’d gone unnoticed by me.
His other big roles were “Angels In America” (too depressing), “Phantom Of The Opera” (just plain terrible) and “Hard Candy”, so I might have to go back and check these out. According to his IMDB profile he was also in “Running With Scissors”, which I did see, but for the life of me I can’t remember him in it. He must not have taken off his shirt.

He was in Running With Scissors? Hmm.. Probably I’ve been blinded by the cuteness of Joseph Cross and the charms of Joseph Fiennes. He did look, averagely HOT. That wall banging scene alone is enough to make me watch this movie.
Somehow he reminds me of a blond Cole Hauser.
There were a couple scenes in the movie that were too hot to post caps of, so you should check it out for yourself. Patrick Wilson isn’t afraid to show off his bottom and it’s a nice one.
NEVER HEARD OF PATRICK WILSON?! You need to rent “Angels in America”! He’s fantastic! Smart, obviously handsome and talented! And then there’s that body!! Yow!! If he asks, I’m available!

Angels in America….my god he played that role to a tee and made me weep with the anguish…and you get to see that body too…
Is it just me, or does the upshot by the pool make anyone else want to run their tongue the entire length of that groove down his midline?
Patrick has a very small part in “Running With Scissors” as the IRS agent that knocks on the door and threatens to sale the Finch house for back taxes. And Joseph Fiennes was totally H-O-T as Augusten’s “sex ed teacher” Oh and BTW, my last name happens to be Wilson. For real :*

I cannot agree more. It’s like 90% of queer movies I had seen have at least one of them dead and no happy endings. :-w

Well lets see…..the original play was debut in 1992…that’s 15 years ago…It is sterotypical in a number of ways but all movies are sterotypical is some way.
Eh…everyone has differing tastes…that’s why the world is so wonderful….as an added bonus Angels has Justin Kirk in it (who I find adorable and can’t find any good picks of him without clothing)

Despite it subject matter, Angels In America is actually quite optimistic; and it is so much more than a miniseries about aids… It’s also about religious, cultural and political identities; and, FYI, none of the “good” characters die.
Didn’t anyone see “Phantom of the Opera”? Maybe you were all blinded by Gerard Butler, but Patrick and his voice were incredible.

I just have to comment again bc I was watching Little Children tonight. And Patrick Wilson is seriously a hot older guy. I mean hot the face and the body absolutely gorgeous.
I would go as far to say that I would choose him over my 2 loves: Ian Somerhaulder and Paul Walker.

OK I know this is an old thread-but just really watched Watchmen-and that side shot of Patrick’s package-OMFHGG!!! The man’s hung at least lookin’ at the size of his balls-he’s a grower not a shower…LOL…

Patrick Wilson is so hot in A Gifted Man. As for his sexy voice, both his Dad and brother are anchormen on Fox13 in Tampa. It’s a family thing.
