Good Dick
First of all, don’t get all giddy and excited. I saw the twinkle in your eyes! Despite the title, there will be no good dicks visible in “Good Dick”. Instead, I’m here to babble about how hot Jason Ritter look in this cute movie. Jason is the son of the late John Ritter, and he looks like a cross between Josh Hartnett, Paul Telfer and James Marsden without having too much of the Hollywood factory gene. Me likey. Having said that, I think it’s safe to say that Jason Ritter will be shirtless in “Good Dick”, as evidenced by this screencap from the theatrical trailer.
I bet many of you will be interested to see this movie because it looks witty enough to sit through without any skin scene expectation. That or simply be fooled by it’s supercatchy title (and the poster). Our resident hottie Mark Webber and Sigourney Weaver is in this accidental hotness as well.

Winner of the New Directors Award at the 2008 Edinburgh Film Festival and official selection in dramatic competition at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival, “Good Dick” is an idiosyncratic romance about a video store clerk (Jason Ritter) and a female customer (Marianna Palka) who rents erotic DVDs from him. Not quite the sexploitation film its’ title might suggest, it is an unexpected love story following a young man on his pursuit of a lonely, troubled woman set in present day Los Angeles. In addition to starring in the film, “Good Dick” marks Marianna Palka’s writing and directorial debut.
“Good Dick” will be released on October 10 in selected theatres and we can look forward for more Jason in upcoming epic “W.” as Jeb Bush. Can anyone confirm if he looked this good back in his “Joan of Arcadia” days?

He was very cute in Joan of Arcadia, but his haircut in that show didn’t do him any justice. He looks a little more mature in this one.

He actually looked rather dorky on Joan. However, there were some great shots of him in the 2005 “Happy Endings” where he played the conflicted & closeted gay boy.
For those who need to emotionally overlook him because of his late father, just think of him as the grandson of Tex Ritter instead.
Any way you look at him, he is C-U-T-E!

I definitely see the Marsden look-alike quality and I look forward to seeing him naked, errr I mean shirtless. I saw “W” but do not remember him as Jeb Bush.
It’s squicky, I know, but don’t forget how hot his father was, both around this age, and even in maturity. Of course his son is hot.
