Freddie Prinze Jr. & Chris Klein in New York City Serenade
Supercapper DaveId at Dreamcaps posted these caps of my 1997 crush Freddie Prinze Jr. and hairline illusionist Chris Klein from “New York City Serenade” along with this awesome writeup.
Eight or so years ago these two were on the cusp of superstardom and now they can’t even carry a television show on their own (granted, a lot of the ‘stars’ of the early 90′s have underacheived — the “Scream” and “Scooby Doo” movies seem to have been a bit of a jinx). Freddie’s even tried writing for the WWE of all things. Chris has some more movies in the pipeline and Freddie will be starring in the American version of the British comedy “No Heroics”. Dare I say that Freddie too often lets his inner geek guide his career choices (“Wing Commander”? Writing for “Mutant X”?) and Chris seems to have found his niche as the indie flick go-to “free-spirit” (read: slacker stuck at age 15) type. Here they star in Frank Whaley’s indie flick “New York City Serenade”.
Also, is it just me or Chris Klein chest hair pattern looks totally like bikini tan lines. LOL
