Robin Williams in The Fisher King

Robin Williams Shirtless in The Fisher King

Robin Williams always have a special place in my heart ever since I was a teenager. He sits directly on the same shelf as Steve Martin in the “hairy comedian” section. These vintage caps are from the film “The Fisher King” where he played a homeless man with a couple of very nice shirtless scenes (albeit a bit dirty) opposite the more Hollywood friendly Jeff Bridges. The film ends with Robin and Jeff lying side by side with no clothes on Central Park at night. It symbolizes that the smooth and hairy can live together in perfect harmony. With his recent development, let’s hope Mr. Williams gets well soon and continue on to bring the good old fashioned funny into this sad, sad world.
