Robin Williams in The Fisher King

Robin Williams Shirtless in The Fisher King

Robin Williams always have a special place in my heart ever since I was a teenager. He sits directly on the same shelf as Steve Martin in the “hairy comedian” section. These vintage caps are from the film “The Fisher King” where he played a homeless man with a couple of very nice shirtless scenes (albeit a bit dirty) opposite the more Hollywood friendly Jeff Bridges. The film ends with Robin and Jeff lying side by side with no clothes on Central Park at night. It symbolizes that the smooth and hairy can live together in perfect harmony. With his recent development, let’s hope Mr. Williams gets well soon and continue on to bring the good old fashioned funny into this sad, sad world.

Uhm, if only i could run my fingers through that chest hair… yummy!

  • Joanna

I find it hard to think of Robin Williams as sexy even though he definitely has a gorgeous chest of hair. I am so enamored of him as “Mork” and “Jack” and “Mrs. Doubtfire” that he is just a sweet, cute, adorable man to me. He is a very intelligent man and a very good actor. But he is too adorable to me to be seen as sexy. But I still love him.

Do we have to put up with anti-Jewish comments here now?

  • http://www.JoeVictoriano.com JoOoE

Really, that was very unnecessary. It pains me to see things like this. We already have enough hatred towards us as it is and to see that. You see how much this gets me going? I hate it soooooo much. Keep your religion to yourselves. This is why Prop 8 passed because of the F-ing religious views, where they can’t accept that there are OTHER RELIGIONS, OTHER GENDERS, OTHER ORIENTATION, and just plain OTHER!

Jason, whoever you are, you need a hug.

  • Phil

A hug no…A swift kick in the ass, or a total beat down…I had a funny comment, and that idiot totally wiped it from my mind…Very few things get me angry sufice it to say that’s one of them…Maybe Square can block that idiot from posting again…OK rant over…

  • http://www.squarehippies.com/ Square

Guys, please have some common sense when you make a comment. (You know who you are)

  • Phil

Square, thank you for removing that post…Makes me love you more than I did before…There’s enough hate in the world…We don’t all have to agree on whom we feel is hot-that’s what makes this site so exciting…Robin Williams, not so much for me(love him as a comedian-just not as a sex symbol)Travis Fimmel not so much for you-for me “Clean up in asile 3″…The CA Supreme Court is now deliberating whether or not to up-hold the ban on same sex marriage-which they’re likely to up-hold(the people have spoken)-the thing is before prop 8 same sex marriage was not an issue-there was no specific ban on same sex marriage-now there is…The gay on gay hate is embarrassing to say the least-young gays hate older gays-forgeting that it’s us old gays who fought for the rights you enjoy today-most of you come out in High School today-that was unheard of in my day…I don’t expect you young gays to “kneel” before us-but is it too much to ask you to acknowlege the respect due us?…OK rant over…

  • Phil

OK ever since The Fisher King, Robbin Williams couldn’t do any more “big dick” jokes…

  • Phil

Saw some vintage John Krasninsky, on CSI yesterday…Dayumn he was effin HOT…I’d forgotten…

Foruntately, Square has removed the anti-Semitic, I guess among other obnoxious remarks, previously posted. I didn’t see it. Why would anyone today even consider revealing such thoughts? Especially in a very public way? Of coruse, we are essentially anonymous here and that very much appeals to cowards, bigots, the mindless haters out there. Phil said it all: huge commitments, sacrifices, even physical, mental pain and death have been a part of bringing the gay community at least to the point where being out, gay, married, fathers and mothers and in prominent responsible positions in society is possible. But, the old hatreds, mindless and stupid bigotry goes on. We’re supposed to love, everyone–not just a few, but dammit it’s hard isn’t it after you’ve read some trash like that which was posted. In my humble opinion, I would propose that anyone who did such a thing has committed a hate crime–and should be prohibited from posting again on this site, First Amendment or not!
