Vintage Adrian Pasdar in Near Dark

Dudes! (and by “dudes,” I mean you all including the women — worry not.) NEAR DARK is a mediocre little vampire flick with A.P. and Bill Paxton and Lance Hendricksen if you know him and a nearly unnoticed James LeGros. Here’s what led me to it. I’m looking forward to The Hurt Locker with our boy Jeremy Renner (he’s here in the Forum and over on the SH site); so I was looking at the previous work of the director Kathryn Bigelow, and this is one of hers.  It’s not terrible, fairly engaging, but a little lame in the long run. Still, I got our hunk Adrian in his younger years. I don’t think he’s changed much in 20 years!Â
P.S: The guy who plays his dad Tim Thomerson is pretty good lookin’ daddyhunk, but I couldn’t find any good shirtlessness anywhere…!  That’s his little sister in the final frames. oxo SB

Tim Thomerson is hotness defined. Check him out in in “Trancers” or “Rhinestone.”
I had no idea James LeGros was in “Near Dark,” and I usually notice him.
As for Adrian Pasdar … I’d rather talk about Tim and James.
