Chaiwat Thongsaeng is a real purdy man-kissin’ man in Thai flick “Bangkok Love Story” which Wiki calls a “gay romantic crime action drama” — a lot to swallow in any language. It’s deeply darkly romantic, terribly sentimental, and not a little melodramatic. The cinematography is sumptuous, gorgeous, and lush. The music is a big wash of hokey exaggerated piano. But still, hot is hot, I mean, this big slightly hairy Thai guy falls for his would-be killer, and that’s just the beginning. Hey, I watched it so you don’t have to. oxo SB
