Christopher Straub: The New Keith Bryce?
Let’s see what we’re working with here. Cute puppy face? Check. A big needy emotional crybaby? Check. Small town hottie? Check. Can’t draw to save his life from fellow designers? Check. Okay, ignore that last part — although I think his sketches are cute but very un-designer-like, totally understandable due to his unconventional training. Anyways! I think I have something to look forward to in “Project Runway” this season in the form of contestant Christopher Straub. Cuteness aside, is it just me or does anyone else can’t seem to stop staring at his Minnesota Twins? Hmmm…. I can’t get over his eyebrows just yet. That’s not a major problem although it would be nice if he stays away from the tweezers for a while. I think. That said, here’s to some skin revelations in upcoming episodes!

Agreed! Total cutie. And he was even more adorkable when he started getting all teary-eyed when his design came down the runway.
And when his dress *did* strut the walk, I was totally like, “Winner!” The combo of textures and the form of it… It all worked. And I was glad to see crazy future-lady go.
Her outfit — or should I say silver-painted quilted Charmin wrap — was a complete moronic mess. Yeesh…
I agree that he is very hot, and i would not push him out of bed. But, where are the pics of him with his shirt off? i thought shirtless men was the point of this website!

Good grief what is with all the bitchiness about him not being shirtless. This is Square’s site and he can post whatever he wants. He has posted non-shirtless guys before and besides as Square said, if you bother reading anything he writes, this is just to introduce the guy and to hope for episodes that feature him shirtless. Lighten up dudes.

I have to say I liked him better with his shirt on. He’s “cute” but not very manly, and the pretentious facial hair and tattoos just strike me as too calculated.

Thanks, Square =). I’ve seen better, but basically, when I see any celebrity, I demand that there be a shirtless image of him somewhere in the universe. It’s a PG-13 version of Rule 34, an inside joke (see Encyclopedia Dramatica), which basically states that there is porn of everyone somewhere.
Now, if only Rule 34 would be true for Mitchell, that utter cutie. Rawr.
P.S. Now that I finally registered, I will go by my default handle instead of James. Just so nobody’s confused.
