U know…I’ve seen this dude in the olympics only in 2008 for the first time- have to say- I agree with many comments I’ve ready but – he’s hot and I do love those hot swimmer thighs and those huge ass size 14 feet-love to lick and sniff em and like to lick him up his body…I just know that if he were gay- he should just be respected as an athlete and for his natural ability- he’s a human like everyone else…he’s hot but because he is a celeb. everyone wants to say something as a story or crap that we don’t even know for real- and if we did…”would any of it matter?” would it make him different to us? Don’t think so… and for other blaming obama about crap…grow up…he’s a POLITICIAN…HE WILL DO WHAT THE HELL HE CAN …HAS ANYONE COMPLETELY LIVED UP TO UR STANDARDS AS PRESIDENT?? HONESTLY??

I posted a response previously, but it disappeared. My apologies if this turns out to be a repetition.

To most gay people, the idea of Michael Phelps dating Carrie Prejean is repugnant. She is the epitome of intolerant homophobic religious people. Why you are unable to grasp this concept is dumbfounding.

I’m gay, and I don’t find the idea of MP dating Prejean to be repugnant. We don’t all think alike. Just because he dates her (if he does), it doesn’t mean he agrees with her politics. Besides, she’s entitled to her opinion. I think she’s wrong, but I don’t think she’s Satanic, either.

Anyway, back to the pictures. I think MP always looks hot, but he is not classically handsome. That goatee does wonders for him by de-emphasizing his long chin. The longer hair also helps balance out his face. He should stick with this look whenever he can.

I especially love the fifth picture from the bottom, the one where he has his hand on his shoulder. Look at that big, flirty smile he’s directing at the cute reporter, who is, indeed, standing way closer than she needs to. Not that I blame her. There is so much mutual admiration going on in that picture that you want to say, “why don’t you two get a room … and take me with you?”

I’m gay, and I don’t find it “repugnant,” even if it’s true. All homosexuals do not march in political lockstep.First of all, dating someone does not mean that you agree with them politically. Secondly, Ms Prejean is entitled to her opinion. I think she’s wrong, but I don’t think she’s Satan incarnate. Opposition to gay marriage does not quite equal Holocaust-level hatred of gays. So … frankly, I don’t care if they’re dating.

Anyway, back to the pix. MP is not classically handsome, but the beard really does a lot to soften his otherwise prominent jaw. I think he’s hot clean-shaven, but with the goatee … wow. Amazing. And, he’s apparently a very nice guy. Did you know his Olympic teammates called him “Gomer,” after Gomer Pyle, because he had the same sweet, rather naive manner? Of course. Gomer Pyle was also dumb as a box of rocks. I guess they could mean that, too.

Dumb or not, dating a religious conservative or not, I’d do him six ways from Sunday.

To Jess (up above): President Obama supports civil unions. Carrie Prejean doesn’t support ANY rights for gay people. Prior to running for president, Mr. Obama supported gay marriage.

I agree with SH: MP looks fabuloso with a goatee. He looks great in general, actually.
