Wes Bentley in Soul Survivors
For someone as dangerously good looking as Wes Bentley, I think it’s not fair for his career to not take off because I think the only film he was in is “American Beauty”, and that was like a decade ago. Maybe he needs a new agent, publicist, a recurring role in some vampire show, something! Since Hollywood is all about how a person looks like, maybe he has too many to be unique. Let’s see — Tobey Maguire, Ian Somerhalder, Jim Sturgess, Joaquin Phoenix, Kevin Zegers and even mah husband all rolled into one neat package. Wes Bentley, as you aptly put “dangerously good looking” was not only front and center in AMERICAN BEAUTY, but resurfaced years later in the parking garage thriller P2. He loosens his “dangerous good looks” to great appeal in what would have been a straight to video story. But he’s got some great moments in a particularly scary flick, and his presence on the marquee alone makes the movie worth a spin.

“Dangerously good looking” indeed. I think Wes has made some bad career choices, but there’s still hope, and I can only see him getting better with age. I’d rather he make indie films and fashion his career off of someone like Elias Koteas.
Saddly I think the boy is pussy whipped…I’ve read that it’s his wife that won’t let him appear nude…And she’s made the career choices…
He also played Satans’ son in “Ghost Rider”. No shirtlessness, but plenty of dangerously good looks.

Ah, yes … Wes here is the kind of guy you start to google as soon as you see him in a film like American Beauty just to see if you can find some nice screen caps and whatever else he’s been in. I can’t add anything to what my fellow droolers have said above.
@Square – Funny you should bring up American Beauty. I’ve been thinking about that movie QUITE a lot recently wrt my current predicament vis à vis mid-life crises and pathetic inter-generational crushes.

American beauty was OK but The Four Feathers was my favourite, though he was not so impressive in it.
Wes gets projects that match his B-List status, so he is up there with Treat Williams, Doug McLure and Eric Roberts.
Val Kilmer has slid much in the last decade and is now a B-Lister also.
I really like how he’s built and his body is proportion with just enough muscles /tufted hair ! I’d marry him if he asked me! :O)
