Chris Messina in Julie & Julia

Chris Messina Shirtless

“Julie & Julia” is one of those movies that warms my cold heart like a slab of butter in a hot pan. Even more, watching Chris Messina as Julie’s perfect boyfriend makes me want to pack my stalking gear and set up camp outside his house. Fortunately, I’m not that crazy. Yet. Anyways, Psi has made some gorgeous captures of this next door hunk from “Six Feet Under” here, so if you feel that these shirtlessness from “Julie & Julia” is inadequate, head there to get a better view of his beautifully unshaved chest. I have to admit he could’ve done with a better shirtless scene in this film, but with those kissable upside down lips and oh so handsome face — I guess I’m content. On the other hand, I can’t say the same about Stanley Tucci. Someone please rip the shirt off that man, because he needs to end the tease fest this instant!

    His lips freak me out.

The highlight of this movie is hunk daddy Stanley Tucci!!!

Jeez, no wonder the Greeks made homo-love part of their culture early on!

After I saw this movie, I looked up everything Messina has done and added to my queue. He totally works on me.

And… I think we did some Tucci parsing in the forum… ah, here it is. Not to be missed, if I do say so myself.

Stanley Tucci is not just shirtless but fully nude (okay, from the side) in the wonderful flick “Big Night.” He is worth checking out…and the movie will make you drool over the food as much as “Julie & Julia” did.

Ooo, thanks for these Square!!! The moment I saw these scenes in the theatre when the movie first came out, I had two thoughts:

    1. I wished I had a pause button :-)
    2. I *knew* these scenes would end up on Squarehippies as soon as they were available for you to cap :-)

The only reason to watch the Julie scenes.

I totally agree with the above comment: Chris is the only reason to watch the Julie scenes. She may not know how to treat her man, but I do!

Chris is even hotter in “Humboldt County,” in which he sports a beard and — more important — appears nude (unfortunately, it’s backal, not frontal). Check it out!

OK I know I’m prolly the only member of this site old enough to remember Julia Child on PBS TV(Google it kiddies-lol)…And hence the major attraction for me was the cooking!…I’m also prolly the only member of this site old enough to know that Julia Child was a major player in WWII(that’s World War 2 kids-do they even teach that anymore?)in the forerunner to the CIA(and I do mean the Government Spy Agency)-yup kiddies JC(and I don’t mean Jesus Christ)was a spy for the USA in World War 2; and a damn good one…She knew quite well how to um handle a “man”…

Chris M. is hot no doubt-but not the major attraction(in the movie) for me…Julia Child-rocked…

Show some respect-those of us over 50 bought you kids the rights and privlages you youngsters know today…Sorry Square, had to say that-I know you understand…

I love that pic with the glasses. Good movie too, if I might add.

@Todd — you are so right. The Julie character was just an unbearably whiny thing. Chris Messina’s character was pretty awful, too — I mean his wife cooks for him every night (does he EVER cook? what IS this?! 1955?!?!), and doesn’t just cook, but cooks a gourmet meal, and he bitches about it.

Of course in real life, the Julie character cheated on her husband. That detail is left out of her (first) book and the movie :-)

Apart from Chris Messina’s looks, the best parts of the movie were the Julia Child parts. Those scenes would have made a great movie by themselves.

    @Phil – no you’re not. You’re totally not. :-)

He nails down the Warren Beatty-ish vibe to a solid TEE.
