Vintage Warren Beatty in Splendor in the Grass

OK, boysenberries, I don’t think I’m really on a vintage kick. I just happen to be checkin’ in on some oldies-but-goodies, and I just can’t keep myself from sharin’ with my fellow horny citizens of the world. I think, for his day, Beatty was probably as close as you could get to “goofy-cute” — one of ol’ squarebart’s favorite categories. These days, that can be much goofier, but look at him, that’s no Rock Hudson-style handsome! Those ears! Those lips! What a cutie, not to mention the rockin’ body…! Apparently, they were talkin’ about him when they titled the movie Splendor in the Grass. The movie’s not bad either; it won the Oscar for Best Screenplay Written for the Screen in 1961. oxo squarebart

Look at that pouty bottom lip, makes me want to nibble on it.
I agree with Dover David once again.
I always drool on the more mature Warren… looks like I will need another bucket to drool on the vintagy Warren!
thanks for posting a shirtless warren beatty. this is a very rare sighting as warren doesn’t get shirtless very often in his movies.
Makes you remember exactly WHY Carly Simon wrote, “You’re So Vain”…
So true…
from carlysimon.com:
“Was it Mick Jagger? Cat Stevens? Warren Beatty? Kris Kristofferson?”
Apparently we’ll never know!
She always was way coy about it, but as she was dating Warren Beatty at the time, logic suggests…
Carly spills the beans.
