Brandon Routh is Dylan Dog

Is it just me or is it a little comforting to know that Brandon Routh’s acting career isn’t dead? When I first saw the trailer for “Dylan Dog: Dead of Night” I thought to myself, this mess needs some sort of a lengthy shirtless scene to sell and to save his career. Towards the end, just literally the end (which is the text book timing for shirtlessness / love scenes in a preview) of the theatrical trailer my crotch’s prayers were answered. It’s not as generous as one would expect, but it’s a start. Also, I understand the need to look as far away from Superman, but that mess on his head needs to be sorted out.

“Dylan Dog” will be in theatres on April 29 and in the meantime, watch the trailer here.

A very adorkable Sam Huntington is also in this, and I know it’s wishful thinking but I secretly wished he had some skin scenes in this film as well.

Well, the messy hair look is probably the only thing that they got right… This movie is shocking as far as casting is concerned; Brandon couldn’t be less of a a Dylan Dog type, he’s the opposite of Dylan Dog in every single way… I don’t get this.

While I do like Brandon Routh, just that kind of classic sort of good looking….I think I might prefer him looking a bit more model ish and lean and trim. Not that there is anything wrong with his body, NOTHING, but maybe not on him so much.
