Steve Guttenberg Shirtless in Cocoon

I’m not saying that Steve Guttenberg is the original adorkable back in the 80s but it’s definitely a possibility. He’s not conventionally Hollywood pretty, you can literally find a guy with his face at least two doors from your house but that hairy body was unmistakably lean and gorgeous. In addition to shirtless pictures of Steve from Police Academy featured earlier, these are from one of his elaborate skin flicks, 1985’s Cocoon which I believe during his prime.

Besides the sci-fi pool gasm, he seems to have no-shirt-on-boat policy which I really love. Come to think of it, I’m not sure that there are any other actor today that has Steve Guttenberg’s daily guy dorkish quality and hot lean hairy body combo. Thanks to everyone who reminded me how hot he was in this movie. Enjoy!

OH HELL YEAH! I’ve always loved seein’ S. Gutenberg movies ‘cuz ya’ KNEW the director was gonna have him shirtless. What a hoot. It’s an automatic successful movie–loads of women and gay guys show up for the show. Great posting! thanks! (I wanna be the towel wrapped around him!).

Great pictures, Steve was so freaking hot back in the day, I’m glad some other people finally realize it too! I’ve tried forever to find pictures of him wearing boxers/briefs/speedos but have had no luck, he is one of the only guys that gets me going just thinking of him…

Nice lean body and I love the wavy chest hair. He is good looking, but not to the point of being intimidating. He looks like someone from the neighborhood.

Steve Guttenberg had a great body in the 80’s and the kind of chest hair I can get behind. It’s nicely clipped, not all matted and dirty looking. And he really looks good with his hair sort of wet and slicked down.

I think it might have been deciding to star in Police Academy parts 1 through 75 that hurt his career. It’s hard to take him serious as an actor after that. Even Sharon Stone was smart enough to get off of that roller coaster after one ride.

Bummer… At least we get to see his current self on mainstream television instead of a lot B (or C) movies he’s been making lately.

I Forgot to mention he also had a few brief shirtless scenes in the film “High Spirits”

besides the first few Police Academy films and Coccon 1-2 .
