I’m going adopt an unusual position (for me) and state that I think Julian McMahon could actually use a little chest hair. It just seems more fitting on men of a certain age, who are getting a little beefier, as Julian seems to be. I’m not really sure if it’s actually Julian I find sexy or just the cockiness he projects as his character on “Nip/Tuck”, because I haven’t really found him appealing in anything else I’ve seen him in. One thing I am sure of though is that Julian needs to stay out of the tanning bed. I know that actual sunlight is now considered deadly poison, but somebody needs to find a middle ground between deathly pallor and looking like something my Mom would pull out of the oven on Thanksgiving.

And this concludes (thank goodness) my series of “Nip/Tuck” guys. Now I can get back men who are more my cup of tea…

I don’t know if he trims his chest hair all the time but something is not right with that fuzz. A bit too groomed perhaps? I found him at his sexiest in Charmed and after that he didn’t do much for me. And about the tanning bed, SO true. Either way, I’m glad you are “thinking” of others too. I’ve posted few guys that I don’t quite dig either but I’m sure loads of people will find him irresistible.

I have seen him smooth and hairy chested on Nip/Tuck and he looks better hairy. Some of those pictures sort of look like he put the clippers on their closest setting or he shaved his chest a few days prior to the scenes being shot. I like him though!

What’s with the chest shaving and in his case if your going to do it, maintain it, who wants to rub up against all that stubble. Take some cotten and rub it all around, he’d look like the missing link!

My (perhaps optimistic) interpretation was that the body-hair removal is “in character” — what vain Dr. Troy would do under the impression that it would keep him looking youthful.

Come to think of it, did he ever hold any good character? It seems mean and McMahon goes hand in hand. I still keep him on the side of the bed though. Yeah David, they look more like stubble than grown hair. Ouch!
