So I finally found someone who can remedy my recent mishap with Josh Hartnett. Besides having a cool last name, lickable Brit James D’Arcy looks a lot like pre Pearl Harbor Hartnett, only with blue eyes and just a tad more pretty. I’m not biased, really. Okay maybe a little bit. And for once, I’m not going to talk about sprout, fuzz, forestation or whatever because this guy is just pure perfection.

These are from British television series “P.O.W”(Prisoners of War) capped by the good folks at his fan forum. James was also in that hot vampire mess “Rise“, which a waste of opportunity at revealing more of his skin to the masses. Oh well. Now excuse me while I go drool, faint and repeat. Thanks Karma!

What still photos can’t adequately showcase is Mr. D’arcy’s “come hither and read me the phonebook, laddie” voice and the fact that he holds several international patents on “smoulder”… (drool).

This was my introduction to James D’Arcy. Definately want to see more of this handsome guy. Does anyone know what films ot tv shows he has appeared. Does he have a fan club?

He does in fact have a dedicated fansite here and you can checkout his IMDB page for a list of the stuff he’s done so far. Credits include Rise, An American Haunting and Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World. I really, really wish he landed a bigger role in a mainstream-ish films. Perhaps a slasher flick ala “The Ruins” with lots of skins?

This guy reminds me greatly of Ralph Fiennes in his younger years, which is a good thing, as far as I’m concerned. He is a definite doll whomever he does or doesn’t resemble. Something about that mouth…

Mr.D’Arcy is the very definition of sex. I’ve happily been a fan of his for years. Not just for the eye candy- but he’s a brilliant actor! He’s been in some really great roles. To anyone who wants to see a nearly full spectrum of his ability… I highly recommend Dot the i… one of my all time favorites, ever.

I don’t actually think he looks like anyone else… and he’s smexier than Josh, surely… -whisper- Better actor too. Ugh, 30 Days of Night killed me, bleh.
But that’s just my opinion.

I wouldn’t have put him in the ruins, a bit too crap. But definately a romantic lead somewhere- to make the girlies giggle.

Anit, I couldn’t agree more. Even a hot guy like Josh Hartnett couldn’t make me sit through 30 Days of Night. It was a mess.
