Alessandro Nivola in Coco avant Chanel

If you open up the dictionary, you’ll find Alessandro Nivola under the entry “handsome”. I mean, there’s no other word that can describe this gorgeous actor (I just contradicted myself, just deal with it) in “Coco avant Chanel” or “Coco before Chanel” for the rest of us. He played Arthur ‘Boy’ Capel, a role which I think fits him like a rubber glove. That stache, the slicked-back hair, the bedroom eyes, the chest hair… Marry me damn you! Alessandro is not only attractive on the outside, he’s also packing on the inside. The brain, that is! He’s a Yale graduate, and I think his education has something to do with his fluent(?) French in this film. “Coco avant Chanel” is a beautiful movie, and I think Mr. Nivola’s Clark Gable-ish face is enough to please my ever so thirsty crotch. One stare and it will instantly combust — true story. For further drooling, here are some more skin from “Junebug” and “Laurel Canyon”. I think he should stick to the dark, tall and handsome look. What say you?

All I can say is…WOW…
There’s something about a hairy chest and a mustache…
This man radiates sensuality, and he’s a good actor to boot (not that I’d boot him … unless he demanded it). I normally don’t notice a guy without facial hair, but he looks great in any form. Great to see the mustache here.
Always glad to see the underappreciated appreciated here! Been a fan since Laurel Canyon, he’s always good. And at the top o’ the list for lookin’ at…
I wasn’t planning to see this movie, but I am now!
Nivola has been good in more good movies than you can shake a stick at. (and he looks great in them too!) Why he is not better known is a real Hollywood mystery. You did a good thing, square, in this tip of the hat to Alessandro!
I’m with you on Laurel Canyon, SB. Man oh man Alessandro Nivola is fine. Normally I don’t go for the moustached look. But I can soooooo forgive him.
Great caps, Square. It’s just a crime that this sublime man has skinned so little in his cinematic career.
