Thanks to joetimber for beating me to the punch with the second picture of our favourite new adorkable doctor (who is calling himself "Preston" by the way).

Okay... I am not getting this at all! What's this all about? Is this like a fetish thing? I just... I don't get it! Why is there a whole website devoted to guys with iPhones? Do they have to be iPhones? What about normal phones? Are those not sexy?

Yeah I don't THINK it's a "fetish" thing. At least it sure isn't for me. (Though who knows -- there's somebody for every possible fetish I guess so it could be for somebody).

As for why it's a "Guys with iPhones" site as opposed to, say, a website for "random dudes who want to take pictures of themselves in a mirror and upload them" (say, with a regular camera), it's because it's easier to upload a picture of yourself from a phone than to take a picture, download it to your computer, then upload it to a website. The GWIP site just lets you post a picture directly and to do that you need a cameraphone and preferably a smartphone of some kind.

There actually is a new website for "guys with smartphones" -- I forget the url. It doesn't surprise me though that somebody thought to do it for iPhones first. They are the hot phone that has the coolness factor these days.

So I guess it's just a cute idea. A way for guys who consider themselves good-looking to upload a picture of themselves. Some of the guys even look like they might be straight :-). (Maybe.)

Anyway -- like what joetimber says, what's hot about it isn't the iPhone (that's just silly and cute); what's hot about it is the guy. Though frankly you have to sift through an AWFUL lot of cruft to get the really hot ones. Not everybody is as good-looking as they think they are :-).
