It could be a pure coincidence, or it could be that shirtless scenes in films and my instinct are now best friends. I fell asleep halfway through “Blade Runner“, and woke up just in time for Harrison Ford’s shirtless scene featuring his rather luscious hairy chest. They don’t make stars like him anymore — all man, all natural. Ford is my essential 80′s lust object, although I was only one when this movie was made. Let’s call today ‘contributions day’, because I’m just a human being and (unfortunately) a human being needs to do other human being stuff other than posting shirtless men. It sucks, I know. With that, we kick off with some vintage Bruce Willis in one of his earliest works on screen, television series “Moonlighting”, submitted via email by Kevin a while back (but still within this month — see, I’m not that horrible). Anyways, my ass, crotch and my other everything couldn’t thank him enough for these precious shots of Bruce with his lickable lightly furry chest from season 3 and season 4. They brought back memories of side eyeing “Color of Night” (caps here) for 15 minutes in a video store back in 1995. Gosh, it’s so good to be over 18 isn’t it? (more…)

Apart from his nominal skin scenes in “The O.C”, finding some shirtlessness of gingy Tate Donovan is not as easy as it seems, so I knew I had to dig deeper. Deeper into the early nineties, to be exact — where the mainstream idea of a hot guy is anyone from “Baywatch”. “Love Potion No. 9” is a quirky little film, where this fine piece played a clean cut, almost adorkable, powdery biochemist paired up with a fairly early pre-Vanilla Gorilla Sandra Bullock. Tate was charming all the way, so he made it easier for me to sit through the whole ordeal. In addition, I’ve included some of his shirtless moments in “The O.C” capped by Superherofan. Also in the film, a shirted Adrian Paul. That’s okay, because this is one of the rare occasions where he was. (more…)

Sweetpeas, imagine me, kickin’ myself for not watching “Rumble Fish” — from 1983, sooner. We’ve agreed, some of us in the forum, that Matt is currently at his best. But there’s a lot to be said for creamy black & white cinematography, a real purdy face, and the true knowledge of how to work the wifebeater. Only shirtless a little, but in that wifebeater most of the time, Matt is joined by Nic Cage and Mickey Rourke (recognize him?) and Dennis Hopper. Alright children, gather round because Mr. Square is going to teach you an important lesson in the history of fuzz. In 1994, the land known as Matthew Fox’s chest was bountiful. This was evident in the series that brought him to our crotches, “Party of Five”. Vegetation can be seen everywhere — in the right places, of course. It was certainly the renaissance of fuzz and hotness in general. About a decade later, “Lost” was created and as the series goes on, the (fur hating, obviously) smoke monster from the island possessed his soul and he was forced to deforest his chest til no single strand of hair can be seen. We mourn the loss of his perfectly hairy chest and today, tales of Matthew Fox’s fuzz can be only told and seen through fictional drawings by the skilled craftsmen of the 21st century. These are capped by Superherofan and they brought such memories. Sweet, sweet memories. Now for your homework, drool at the following caps. Class dismissed! (more…)

Who can say no to a wet Lorenzo Lamas in a tight swimming suit circa 1981? He’s one of the essential furry studs of the eighties, therefore it’s only natural to have him here. These vintage shirtlessness of Mr. Lamas are from one of the first episodes of “Falcon Crest” capped from a clip by Casperfan. There’s no better way of lightening up your Sunday Morning with some silver fuzziness (get it) of Steve Martin in the late John Hughes’ 1987 comedy “Planes, Trains and Automobiles“. I’d have to say the skin scene in this movie isn’t as good as the ones in “The Lonely Guy” but it was definitely one of the most memorable. Steve looked hot then and still does now and I have to say that he ages very well. Here’s to more and more of his shirtless posts in the future and thanks a bunch to Jay Woolsrake for the suggestion! OK, boysenberries, I don’t think I’m really on a vintage kick. I just happen to be checkin’ in on some oldies-but-goodies, and I just can’t keep myself from sharin’ with my fellow horny citizens of the world. I think, for his day, Beatty was probably as close as you could get to “goofy-cute” — one of ol’ squarebart’s favorite categories. These days, that can be much goofier, but look at him, that’s no Rock Hudson-style handsome! Those ears! Those lips! What a cutie, not to mention the rockin’ body…! Apparently, they were talkin’ about him when they titled the movie Splendor in the Grass.
